Our Product Line
Mobile/ Vehicle Workstation
At OPUS Solutions, Inc., we design, develop and manufacture rugged mobile workstations.
Our rugged mobile workstations are designed to operate in stringent mobile environments that
are powered directly by the vehicle battery. Our vehicle computers are designed with an open
architecture approach that uses industry standard components, fully expandable, allowing our
customer to maintain their own systems. The mobile computers can be upgraded with current
technology when performance or features are required, so you can protect your initial investment.
Car Computer (Carputer)
We have developed a low power small form factor personal
car computer that can easily fit under
car seats and is powered by the automobile battery.
It has Ignition input that controls power up and power down function of the computer.
It also has built in shut down control and delayed turn off timer functions.
Temperature monitoring is linked with computer start function.
LCD Monitors
We design, develop and manufacture rugged total digital LCD monitors for industrial
and automotive markets. The LCD monitors are available from 6.4” to 15” diagonal sizes.
All LCD monitors are available with and without touch screen input and with variety of mounting options.

Kris Ponmalai, President
Kris Ponmalai is responsible for both strategic products and business development
of the company. Prior to founding Opus Solutions, Inc. he was President at Gounder
Technologies, Inc. in Deerfield, IL. a manufacturer of LCD monitors and controllers
for industrial applications. Prior to Gounder Technologies, he was a test and measurement
product development engineer at Teradyne Telecommunications, Inc. in Deerfield,
IL., a leading manufacturer of automated test systems for telecommunication networks
and outside plants. He received B.E.E.T. degree from Devry Institute of Technology,
Chicago, IL.
