Opus Solutions, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser ("Purchaser") that the products it manufactures will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty term for all products is three years beginning on the date of the receipt of the product.
During the first year of the warranty period Opus Solutions Inc will repair or replace products covered under this limited warranty that are returned to Opus Solutions Inc. facility.
During the second and third years of the warranty period, Opus Solutions Inc. will provide service replacement parts for Opus Solutions Inc. products covered under this warranty, on an exchange basis, when a part requires replacement.
For a repair the Purchaser may use any service it chooses, including Opus Solutions Inc. at the current rate specified by Opus Solutions Inc.
Exclusions: Under Opus Solutions Inc. Warranty & Support Program:
Coverage will not apply to defects or damage resulting from:
- Improper packing during return shipment to us
- Smoke damage from fire or tobacco smoke
- Damages for loss of data or software restoration
- Disasters such as floods, fires, winds, earthquakes or lightning
- Water damage of any kind
- Incorrect installation of hardware, software, and/or accessories
- Failure to provide the proper installation environment
- Peripherals not purchased from Opus Solutions Inc. or unauthorized attachments
- Service by any other service center
- Any other type of abuse, misuse, physical damage or neglect
- Or where the serial number or rating label has been removed, defaced or altered
Opus Solutions, Inc it's employees and its affiliates cannot be held responsible for any accidents, tickets or damage to your or any third party vehicles. Opus Solutions, Inc products are designed for passenger or off-road use. Please use common sense when using any of our products, to ensure your and others safety.
If products are purchased with the intent of resale purposes, Opus Solutions Inc. requires a Reseller Certificate be faxed or emailed in order to be refunded the mandatory 8.00% California sales tax. Please download the Reseller Certificate from here and fax it back to us at (949) 387-1555 or email it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In general, component orders will ship in 1 business day and built systems will usually ship in 3 to 5 business days. Cutoff time for shipping 3 Day, 2nd Day or Next Day Air orders same day is 12 PM Pacific Standard time. All orders placed after 12 PM Pacific Standard time will usually ship the following business day. Actual delivery time depends on the shipping method chosen. Any orders accepted and confirmed after 12 PM PST, needed to ship same day, expediting charges will apply.
Service & Support
Opus Solutions Inc. provides free telephone technical support for diagnosing hardware problems with your system throughout the warranty period. The number for this technical support can be found in the Contact page at the top of this website.
Free telephone technical support service is limited to configuration and operation of hardware sold by Opus Solutions Inc. This technical support will also include configuration of operating system software purchased from and installed by Opus Solutions Inc. in its computer systems, for 30 days from the date of shipment. The Technical Support Department does not offer software tutoring or training.
Policy for Special Ordered Non Opus Installed Components and Self Modification or Additions to Opus Systems.
Opus Solutions, Inc. provides special ordered non Opus Components for your systems upon request for your own convenience. Items such as Optical CD/DVD-Rom drives, SSD Flash Drives, and special request Motherboards and Hard Disk Drives, that we do not carry in our normal inventory, are not refundable or exchangeable. Certain items may be eligible for return, in exchange for credit with Opus Solutions, Inc., if returned within 3 days of delivery. Warranty services on these items must also be done directly through the manufacturer of the item, as Opus Solutions, Inc. will not approve any RMA requests due to the malfunction of these items. The only exception is if it is determined through our technical support staff that an Opus made part was the direct cause of the malfunction of one of these special ordered components. Opus Solutions, Inc. accepts no responsibility for any damage or defect to an Opus System, and may void any warranty on Opus Systems or Components, if installed with any components or software not approved by Opus Solutions, Inc. prior to the installation of components by the end user. The warranty Opus Solutions, Inc. provides is based upon the product as assembled and tested prior to delivery. The end user risks voiding any warranty by performing any self modifications or additions to products designed by Opus Solutions, Inc.
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Policy
If the Opus Solutions Inc. technical support staff determines that a part is defective, a replacement can be sent to Purchaser under the Shipping Policy detailed in the next section after Purchaser obtains a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Purchaser must request for an RMA no. (located in the Support section) before attempting to return any part. Parts returned without first obtaining an RMA number shall not be accepted, and in any case, shall not be repaired or replaced.
To obtain an RMA no., Purchaser must follow these procedures
- Request an RMA no. on-line.
- The RMA no. must be used within TEN (10) DAYS, or it will not be honored.
- The RMA no. must be referenced outside the box.
- Opus Solutions Inc must receive all Returns before a replacement will be sent, unless a valid credit card number has been given to secure payment for the replacement part.
- All RMA Returns must be shipped to Opus Solutions Inc with freight PREPAID. Any Returns with freight collect or COD will be refused and returned to you;
- Opus Solutions Inc must RECEIVE all returned goods within the warranty period.
Opus Solutions Inc. can send the replacement part before you return the defective part if you provide Opus Solutions Inc. with your valid credit card number to cover the cost of the replacement. You must return the defective part within fourteen (14) days from date of delivery of the new part, or your credit card will be charged for the cost of the replacement part. Please retain your shipping information, including tracking number. This will serve as your proof of return.
A replacement part will be sent to you after Opus Solutions Inc. receives the defective part from you if you cannot provide us with a valid credit card number.
Return Shipping Policy
The Purchaser must pre-pay shipping costs including insurance for any defective system or parts returned under this warranty. Opus Solutions Inc. shall not be liable for risk of loss or damage during shipment of your returned system or parts if you fail to insure the shipment.
All products must be shipped back to Opus Solutions Inc. in their original or equivalent packaging (all electronic devices must be secure from mechanical or static electricity damage, otherwise warranty will be void). Opus Solutions Inc. will ship the repaired or replacement product(s) to Purchaser via Ground Service (freight prepaid) if you use an address in the continental United States. For shipments to other locations, Purchaser must pre-pay any shipping charges, insurance, export taxes, custom duties and taxes including VAT taxes, or any other charges associated with transportation of your Opus Solutions Inc. products. Purchaser assumes the risk of loss. Opus Solutions Inc. shall not be responsible for failure of the delivery service to make on-time delivery. If Purchaser requests a shipping method other than Ground Service, Purchaser must pre-pay the difference in cost before Opus Solutions Inc. will ship the replacement product.
NOTE: Before you ship the product(s) to Opus Solutions Inc, back up the data on the hard-disk drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Remove any removable media, such as diskettes, CDs, or PC Cards. Opus Solutions Inc does not accept liability for lost data or software.
Opus Solutions Inc. owns all parts removed from repaired products. OPUS Solutions, Inc. uses new and reconditioned parts made by various manufacturers in performing warranty repairs and building replacement products. If OPUS Solutions, Inc. repairs or replaces a product; its warranty term is not extended.
Thirty-Day Money Back Guarantee
If you are an end-user customer who purchased products directly from OPUS Solutions, Inc., you may return the product to OPUS Solutions, Inc. within thirty (30) days of the purchase date for a refund of your purchase price. Shipping charges and insurance are not included and will not be refunded to you. If your purchase was made by credit card, a 10% service charge against the total invoiced amount will be deducted from your refund. Custom ordered components that have been added to a preconfigured OPUS Solutions, Inc. computer system will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. You must ship the computer system to OPUS Solutions, Inc. in its original packaging, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment.
Returned products must be in as-new condition, and include all software, software license certificates, diskettes, CDs, manuals, components, cables and all other items that were included with the original packaging. Failure to meet this requirement will result in a restocking fee (20%) being deducted from your refund. You must follow the conditions outlined below in order to obtain your refund: Before any return, an RMA number must be obtained from OPUS Solutions, Inc. in accordance with the aforementioned RMA Policy.
To receive a refund, the returned product must be received at our factory within fourteen (14) days from the date that the RMA is issued and within thirty (30) days from the purchase date. If your product is not received within fourteen (14) days of the RMA being issued, but it is received within thirty (30) days of your purchase date, then you shall be charged 20% of your invoice amount as a restocking fee. If your product is not received within thirty (30) days of your purchase date, then you shall not be entitled to any refund.
Upon OPUS Solutions, Inc.'s receipt of your returned product and verification that it has not been damaged, altered or is missing any other original shipping items, you will receive a full refund normally within fourteen (14) days from the date the product is received. Your refund amount will be reduced for any missing parts, components, other original shipping items or damage or alteration to the product. OPUS Solutions, Inc. will not accept any unauthorized returns. Any merchandise returned without first obtaining an RMA number shall be rejected and returned to you at your expense. If shipping costs are not paid and the product is returned to OPUS Solutions, Inc., then you shall be charged a storage rate in the amount of $10.00 per day of storage.
Limitation Of Liability
This limited warranty is contingent upon proper and normal use and installation, and does not cover damage due to external causes, including but not limited to, accident, problems with electrical power, liquids, chemicals, oxidation, corrosion, exposure to the elements, servicing not authorized by OPUS Solutions, Inc., usage not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by OPUS Solutions, Inc.. OPUS Solutions, Inc. makes no express warranties or conditions beyond those stated in this warranty statement. OPUS Solutions, Inc. disclaims all other warranties and conditions, express or implied, including without limitation implied warranties and conditions of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
OPUS Solutions, Inc. does not accept liability beyond the remedies set forth in this warranty statement or liability for incidental or consequential damages, including without limitation any liability for products not being available for use or for lost data or software.
Life support Application
OPUS Solutions Inc. Products are not designed for use in life support applications, devices, or systems. OPUS Solutions Inc. customers using or selling our products for use in such applications do so at their own risk and agree to fully indemnify OPUS Solutions Inc. for any damages resulting from such improper use or sales.

Suppliers must comply with these Quality Clauses. Additional Quality Clauses will be noted on the Purchase Order as required.
- Any delay in shipment must be conveyed to purchasing as soon as the delay is known.
- Any changes to the contract requirements by the supplier must be approved by Opus Solutions, Inc. in writing.
- All information in the contract must be held in confidence and no third party request for information will be authorized unless instructed in writing by Opus Solutions, Inc. representative.
- All applicable requirements must be flowed down to sub-tier suppliers.
- Notify Opus Solutions, Inc. of changes in product and/or process definition and, where required, obtain Opus Solutions, Inc. approval.
- Notify Opus Solutions, Inc. quality department of nonconforming product and make proper arrangements for approval.
- Maintain adequate records of all inspections and tests. Records shall be kept for a period of ten (10) years after final payment for supplies or services.
- Machining suppliers must furnish inspection reports, Certificate of Conformance, and as applicable Material and Processing Certifications for the parts they submit.
- Processing suppliers must furnish processing certifications to the purchase order requirements, and shall not process any parts for which they are not certified or approved.
- Material suppliers must furnish material certifications to the purchase order requirements, and shall not supply material for which they are not certified or approved.
- In addition to Opus Solutions, Inc. right of entry, the supplier agrees to right of entry for our customers, or regulatory agencies, to all facilities and records in the performance of this contract.
